“Creativity is good. But have you tried consistency?”

For this month’s theme of #cmProcrastinate we explore the the good (and bad) of how procrastination affects our creative and financial lives with our speakers, Wei Choon Goh and Ruiming He.

About the speaker

The Woke Salaryman (TWS) was founded in 2019 by two creatives, Ruiming (a copywriter) and Wei Choon (an illustrator/animator), primarily as a side hustle. Both passionate about creating effective content, they started TWS as a way to showcase the power of social media and digital content to educate and inspire people to cultivate a healthy and sustainable relationship with money. Through each well-crafted, engaging, and relatable comic, they aim to make the typically boring and complicated topic of personal finance entertaining and more digestible to understand. A year after their first viral comic about earning $100k by 30, they both saw the page’s potential and quit their jobs to run TWS full-time. At two years old, TWS currently has more than 200k followers on both Facebook and Instagram, and continues to grow every day.
