Paolo Inverni

Born in Savigliano (Cuneo) in 1977, Paolo Inverni is a visual artist that lives and works in Torino.
His artistic research is mainly based on the concept of point of view. Point of view considered both as physical position of a viewer in relation to a subject and as attitude of a person towards a subject shaped by individual and social elements.
With this as starting point, his practice flirts with the idea of the world as a multitude of possible points of view – and not as an objective truth – and faces issues such as social and individual identity, sense of place, of belonging and of uprootedness.
In doing so, he works with a variety of languages and media often taking the form of installations.
