Oscar Venhuis

Based on Lamma island in Hong Kong, Oscar Venhuis is an entrepreneur, artist and producer of The Last Supper, a weekly podcast about art in Asia. Born in Korea, Oscar spent his formative years in Groningen, the Netherlands, and after his BA in The Netherlands Oscar was the first student to be accepted to attend the inaugural 2-year MA Programme at the Royal College of Art (RCA) in London but dropped out after a year to pursue a professional career in design. In 2007, he graduated with a MA (distinction) in Design Management from Birmingham City University, U.K.

Prior to joining Happyer Skills as the interim CEO, Oscar co-founded theDesk, a coworking space and worked as a lead instructor for General Assembly since 2016. At EQ Lab he is collaborating with Dr Richard Claydon developing new practices for collaboration in virtual and in-person spaces.
