November Creative Recharge
– Hosted at Virtual - see event details
part of a series on Radical
For the penultimate CMPDX of 2020, we invite you to spend time reflecting and recharging with us. Our guests will each help you think differently about how to engage with the present and shape your future.
1. Yawa (formerly Amenta Abioto) (she/her)
Begin the morning with singer, songwriter, producer & performance artist Yawa Amenta.
2. Ami Baio (she/her)
Pink Tiger Games founder Ami will talk tabletop game development with a special focus on her newest game, Flatter Me: A Compliment Battle Card Game. Have paper and pen ready for an optional writing activity!
3. Hannah B. (she/her)
Celebrate all of your emotions with @fuzzzbrain.art illustrator Hannah as she walks you through a simple drawing exercise that promotes self compassion and creativity. Suggested materials: anything you can draw with, but the more colorful the better—pen, pencil, crayon, colored pencil, water colors, markers.
4. Paloma Medina (she/her)
We’ll close out the morning with an exercise led by Paloma Medina (she/her)—public speaker, trainer and owner of 11:11 Supply. In a quietly interactive session, you’ll be guided through a reflective life strategy exercise to help you refocus on your physical and emotional health (in time for winter and the new year!). You’ll want a pen and paper or a notebook for this exercise.
