Mitch Stevens discusses how love-inspired projects hold a unique ability to bring people together—even if it’s not how you anticipated.
About the speaker
Mitch is the creative director/co-founder of Dreamling Books and co-creator of The Dreamathon (an interactive experience for kids that brought local artists together to transform the abandoned Granite High School), 'The Boy Who Spoke to the Earth' (a story collaboration with surf and adventure photographer Chris Burkard and Disney Interactive artist David McClellan), The Village of Lights (one of the world's largest exhibition of Dickens village houses with an accompanying immersive story that raised funds for local charities) and the forthcoming essay collection 'Why Wilderness.'
Mitch's career and work have consistently been centered around uniting people, purpose and place through the power of stories—and using this power to share the things we love. Come join the conversation with him about why sharing this love through stories is so important and explore new ways that are emerging to help us do it.
