About the speaker
‘By Art we Live’. Mimo talks about her journey with art across many countries, world events, stages of development and a life-long search for the truth of Art.
Using visual storytelling, photography, motion design and writing, Mimo traces a line that connects her with humanity and with the meaning of life through the love of Art. After numerous exhibitions, publications, personal and group projects, and a photo book ‘Solo’ published in 2023, now Mimo is working on several new projects including a biography and a new book of portraits and stories to be released this Summer along with a month long photo exhibition in Venice, September of 2024.
Mimo Khair is a photographer, writer, blogger, design consultant at Snap Collective Publishing and a motion designer and animator. She was born in Lebanon where she lived till age 20, then moved to New York City where she discovered her love for photography and Art and lived for 16 years, that was followed by 12 years in Shanghai, China, where she explored Asia with her lens and pen. Now living in Duesseldorf since 2017, Mimo continues to explore her journey through books, short animations and photography.
