Detroit Design District is a neighborhood of creative entrepreneurs, artists, and makers. Located in the heart of Detroit’s historic Milwaukee Junction, the District is rooted in hundreds of years of innovation, from the Model T to techno music. The DDD is committed to partnering with community members, nonprofits, and businesses to create a welcoming and energizing environment for artists who reside in Detroit to thrive, and people from around the globe to visit and enjoy.

Co-founders Delainie and Marissa started Backtalk to be better neighbors. We wanted to build a creative studio that supports communities, businesses, and the work that connects them.
