Matt Heafy

Matthew Kiichi Heafy is a musician, songwriter, and blogger. With over 12 years of experience as an internationally touring musician, Matthew has endured the triumphs and tribulations of an industry that continues to challenge artist success as it evolves with technology, social media, and a new generation of listeners that experience music in an entirely different way. Matthew is currently the lead singer and guitarist for the metal/hard rock band Trivium, as well as a songwriter and composer. He also writes a blog that documents his food + travel adventures as a musician. Signed to Roadrunner Records (Warner) since 2004, Matthew has released 6 albums, four debuting in the top 25 on Billboard, sold more than 1 million records worldwide and has toured in 30+ countries. He is currently working on multiple side projects and collaborations.
