About the speaker

What matters more — the work, or how you work? It’s a question Mark Easterbrook thinks about often. In a creative career that’s about to enter its third decade, he thinks the way he works with others has allowed him to keep finding new opportunities. This ethos he has developed over the years has multiple strands, which over time have come together to build a strong and ever-evolving outlook on how to move through the world.

Mark is a freelance creative director and writer in the advertising and design world; a mentor and community volunteer; and a connector of words, ideas and people. He has a particular interest in one big question: how do we build a version of Aotearoa that doesn’t default or defer to people who look like him, but instead celebrates everyone?

Join us on 4 November as Mark addresses the global theme of ETHOS and how it influences connections, community and creativity.
