About the speaker
Mario is Partner and Head of Portugal at Echos Innovation Lab. He’s also Director at Abedesign (Brazilian Design Companies Association), Brand Strategist and Design Thinker. He believes that we are living a new world paradigm and that design concentrates the necessary abilities to come up with news scenarios and build a more balanced future.
Lisbon Local Leader at World Creativity Day (2020/2021) and Curator at Lisbon Entrepreneurship Week (2020). Specialist responsible for have written the innovation text for the 14th Brazilian Cooperativism Congress (2019). Curator at Brazil Design Award Forum (2018), which is the event of the greatest design award in Brazil, with the topic Desirable Future of the Brazilian Design. Professor at Descola in Design Thinking and Dynamic Leadership courses. As a design thinker he has traveled in Brazil leading the Design Thinking Experience course. He has also been a learning experiences facilitator in courses at Echos Design Thinking School in order to train leaders and collaborators from big companies such as Natura, Itau, Visa, Klabin, among others.
He worked for 5 years at Tatil as a strategist developing branding projects to clients such as Olympic and Paralympic Committee (awarded brand case Rio 2016), Natura, Philips, Nokia, Coca Cola, and Renault.
