About the speaker

Mandy is a visual storyteller, filmmaker, and modern-day nomad who traded in a fast-paced media career in Dubai for a life on the road—camera in hand and heart wide open.

Since taking that leap, she’s travelled solo through Iran, wandered across South America, and documented deeply human stories that challenge stereotypes and celebrate connection. Her films have captured the quiet poetry of everyday life in places often misunderstood.

Mandy’s path has been shaped by spontaneity, courage, and a deep trust in the unknown. Join us for a morning of feel-good cinematic vignettes from the road and reflections on what it means to belong everywhere—and nowhere—all at once.
