Jeff Barlow captures the Seattle music scene, one sketch, one song, one band at a time.

Jeff has been quietly documenting Seattle’s music scene through sketchbook drawings at local music venues — capturing the bands, moments, and the textures of our city, but with a twist. He captures each band drawing in the length of one song. It’s a deeply LOCAL act, and exactly the kind of story we love to celebrate at CreativeMornings.

About the speaker

Jeff Barlow is a Creative Director at Boeing and a long-standing voice in Seattle’s design community. A former President of AIGA Seattle, Jeff has spent decades showing up for creatives in this city — as a leader, mentor, and collaborator. But it’s his personal practice that we’re especially excited about: Jeff has been quietly documenting Seattle’s music scene through sketchbook drawings at local music venues — capturing the bands, moments, and the textures of our city, but with a twist. He captures each band drawing in the length of one song. It’s a deeply LOCAL act, and exactly the kind of story we love to celebrate at CreativeMornings.
