Jeff Kovel and Mark Smith discuss the inspiration behind the Bodecker Building

Facilitated by Clive Knights, Mark Smith, former Nike VP of special projects, and Jeff Kovel, Skylab Architecture founder, discuss the creative ideation behind the design of an iconic Bodecker building in Portland. Home to the Bodecker Foundation, Sandy Bodecker’s vision was to slam creative disciplines in an environment that brings together the novice and experienced, in a space that brings out the best in everyone. To accomplish that, the architecture reimagined an existing structure and invites nature into a space designed for artistic retreat.
