Lyn received her Bachelor’s Degree from Minot State University and her Master’s in Counseling from the University of North Dakota. A life – long educator, Lyn’s extensive background in education includes having been a high school English teacher at Dunseith and Parshall High School(s). Prior to going to work at the Quentin N. Burdick Job Corps, Lyn worked for about seven years at Nueta, Hidatsa, Sahnish Community College, when it was still known as the Fort Berthold Community College. After leaving Minot in 2005 due to a job promotion, Lyn had the opportunity to work from home for MINACT (Minorities in Action), a company based in Jackson, Mississippi, and the largest minority – owned contractor in Job Corps.
