Louisa Fisher

September 18, 8:30am - 10:00am BST. Hosted at Zoom

part of a series on Spectrum

Additional details

Louisa Fisher is an illustrator based in Royal Leamington Spa. Her current work focusses on celebrating curves and diversity in female bodies. Illustrating in her spare time Louisa finds inspiration from a wide variety of subjects; from “people watching” in Jephson Gardens, classical and contemporary art to characters in film and TV shows. If Louisa wasn’t drawing the female body she would probably be drawing (and eating!) a spectrum of cheeseboards!

Louisa will talk about what inspires her illustrations, what she hopes to see and do more of in the future and how illustration can help with confidence, identity and body positivity.

To me the word ‘Spectrum’ is full of energy, it lets us take an idea and stretch it to boundless possibilities, allowing for infinite exploration.
