Lori Kozlowski is a media leader, journalist, writer, and editor. Her career spans traditional media companies, startups, and organizations seeking to say something new in the world.

Lori's focus is on excellence in storytelling. She has helped shape the voice and vision at several organizations and publications, serving in editorial leadership roles at the Los Angeles Times, Forbes, Atom Factory, the City of Los Angeles, and the International Fund for Animal Welfare. She was the producer of Project Empathy, a virtual reality series created in partnership with Google that examined human rights issues within the U.S. prison system.

She currently serves as Editorial Director at Shondaland, exploring culture, lifestyle, and shining a light on new voices.

Her editorial work often focuses on how our broader culture is changing and how we, together, can make the world a better place. In 2021, she became a Terra climate fellow, exploring how we can tell better, smarter, and more heart-centered climate stories that inspire people to act in the face of global climate change.
