About the speaker
Hi I am Tatjana! I am a marketing professional and the host of The MITA Podcast.
Raised in Germany as the daughter of Serbian immigrants, I grew up between languages, cultures, and different ideas of home - an experience that sparked my fascination with identity, belonging, and roots.
After speaking at CreativeMornings on the theme of Roots, I decided to continue the conversation by launching The MITA Podcast. Through conversations with various people, I explore themes of roots, cultural identity, belonging, and what shapes us at our core.
Alongside my podcast, I bring over 15 years of international experience in communications and marketing across Europe and Asia. I speak five languages, have a passion for fashion illustration and consider Frankfurt, Belgrade, Munich, and Singapore all part of home.
Hi I am Genna! I have roots in Singapore, grew up in Hong Kong, and have called more cities home than most people have passport stamps.
A few years ago, I started from scratch, traded the adrenaline of Hong Kong for the quiet of the German countryside. Burnout has a way of stripping everything back. For me, it became the doorway into breathwork, self-inquiry, and an integrative approach to well-being. Living as an expat in rural Germany, caught between two cultures, navigating loneliness in a language not my own. I started asking a different question: not how do I get back to who I was, but who do I want to become in this new place? The answer kept coming back to the same three things: movement, music, and connection.
Today, I am a certified breathwork coach helping people regulate their nervous systems.

Additional details
In this live podcast conversation, Tatjana Krajsic sits down with Genna Resch to explore identity, belonging, and the complexities of creating home across cultures.
Having roots in Singapore, growing up in Hong Kong, and now building a life in rural Bavaria, Genna’s story is one of cultural contrast, reinvention, and unexpected transformation. Her move from the pace of metropolitan life to a small German town raised questions around loneliness, visibility, adaptation, and what it means to belong when you are culturally and visibly different.
Together, Tatjana and Genna will explore the realities of building a life far from familiar surroundings, navigating cultural differences, and redefining home in a world where so many of us live in between places, languages, and identities.
Whether you’ve moved countries, grown up between cultures, or simply questioned where you truly belong, this conversation is for you.
