How to stop optimizing your life and let the unknown path transform you.

Lisa Marie Howe, an avid traveler, has been to over 40 countries, most of them by herself, and believes in the unique power of solo travel to help individuals realize their full potential. Applying a framework similar to that of the intentional use of psychedelics, Lisa Marie helps others enhance the transformational nature of travel.

About the speaker

Lisa Marie Howe, LCSW is stone-cold serious about leisure. A dancer, photographer, hot springs enthusiast, amateur tide pooler, and thrift store connoisseur, Lisa Marie also finds time to be a therapist in private practice and palliative care social worker.

While Lisa Marie deeply values traditional talk therapy she has also found deep healing and wholeness arise from leisure activities, both in her own life and the lives of her clients. She helps individuals improve quality of life and overcome burnout by finding meaning and purpose in their lives through their hobbies and travel. Her work is informed by ecopsychology, mindfulness, and a devotion to the serious business of what we do “for fun.”
