Leigh Tauss is an award-winning journalist based in Raleigh, North Carolina. She previously served as a senior staff writer for the Triangleās alt-weekly newspaper, INDY Week, and has also reported for The Washington Post and The Daily Beast.
Her work covering the 2020 Black Lives Matter protests received national recognition. Sheās also known for long-form feature stories and investigative deep dives into politics, racial justice, development, and environmental issues.
