About the speaker

Larry is a local small business owner and founder of a health incubator that specifically provides executive coaching and mentorship to marginalized individuals pursuing the health and wellness field. He received a degree from the University of Kentucky and Eastern Kentucky University. After working as a trainer for a while he went back to school to work on expanding his toolbox with more injury prevention and care. By trade he is a board-certified athletic trainer with a license in massage and a certified Yoga instructor. Prior to the pandemic he was also certified in trauma informed yoga, which is geared towards creating more access points for yoga to individuals who have experienced trauma. Some of the highlights of his career include working with the New England Patriots in 2006, the Indianapolis Colts in 2008, and having clients who played for the Cincinnati Bengals. In addition to working with professional athletics Larry has also worked with the University of Kentucky Football for 3 years and University of Kentucky Basketball for 3 years, including the 2014-15 38-1 team. He is the recipient of the 2017 and 2019 Minority Small Business of the year and still very much involved with Commerce Lexington.
