About the speaker

Kyle Yearwood is a visual artist from Baltimore, MD. Kyle attended Morgan State University, and received a B.A. in Screenwriting & Animation (Film) in 2014. Kyle’s work has been published in various outlets such as: Afropunk, Complex, The Baltimore Sun, and Essence. In 2018 alone, Kyle has had work featured in the National Black Theatre in Harlem, The Tectonic Space in Baltimore, and participated in an augmented reality exhibition at the Museum of the African Diaspora in San Francisco. Kyle is a Light City - Neighborhood Lights award recipient and premiered his first major art instillation in the Spring of 2018 in the heart of Baltimore City.
