About the speaker
Julian Faid has been improvising for over 15 years. He has appeared in improv festivals in Atlanta, Los Angeles, Seattle, Toronto, Vancouver, Winnipeg and even Regina. He has also represented Alberta at the Smithsonian Folk Life Festival in Washington DC and was nominated for a New Zealand Comedy festival "Best Show" award in 2007. He also won “Best of The Fest” at the Vancouver International Improv Festival 2015.

Founded in 1973 by a collective of Edmonton artists, Latitude 53 is a not-for-profit artist-run centre. We provide a non-coercive environment to assure the freedom of the artist, and give the public access to new art forms. Latitude 53 supports the research and development of new artistic practices and concepts, and encourages experimentation by artists through diverse programming.
