Joi Brown

Joi Brown was born in Chicago, Illinois, raised in Illinois & Florida, and now calls Birmingham home. An alumna of the University of Montevallo School of Fine Arts and former arts educator, she now uses her creativity to create beautiful branding and lasting impressions in the nonprofit sector, specifically in the areas of social justice and difficult history. As the Marketing Manager for the Birmingham Civil Rights Institute, Joi works to build strong connections with a diverse audience by spreading the message of exploring our common past and working together in the present to build a better future.
