John Vigeland is the CFO and co-founder at East Fork, a small dinnerware manufacturing company based in Asheville. In 2009, he moved to North Carolina to serve a 3 year apprenticeship with a traditional potter in the Piedmont. Through that apprenticeship, he met his current business partners, Alex and Connie Matisse, and in 2013 they combined their efforts to grow East Fork into what it is today: a group of 45 people working to ethically make and sell useful objects of beauty and meaning, elevate and humanize the lives that touch their manufacture and use, and use business as a platform for creating a more just and equitable world.
