Jennifer Blanco, Founder of Spindletop Design, Co-founder of Workhorse Printmakers, Vice President of AIGA Houston
As a designer who spent a great deal of time living and working in Brooklyn, Jennifer is proud to call Texas home. With a degree in Graphic Design from the School of Visual Arts in New York, she brings experience in visual communications from teams such as JP Morgan Chase, The Museum of Modern Art, and Louise Fili Ltd. Her work has been featured in design compendiums by Gestalten, Rockport, Chronicle Books, PRINT, and HOW magazine. Jennifer is a co-founder of the letterpress studio Workhorse Printmakers and Affiliate Artist at the University of Houston in the design department. She works to build design awareness and community as the Vice President of AIGA Houston.

I really enjoyed this talk on collaboration of Jennifer and John. It was interesting to hear their perspective of having a creative life together and how they build trust and creativity with each other in life and work. I loved the nice nerd moment reference to Ray and Charles Eames and Massimo and Lella Vignelli.
