CreativeMornings Auckland chapter founder, Jade Tang-Taylor, shares 10 lessons from 10 designs over the past 10 years.
About the speaker
10 years, 10 designs, 10 lessons
Jade Tang-Taylor is a designer, dreamer, and do-er. A purpose-driven, design-led, creative social entrepreneur, Jade is the Chapter Founder of CreativeMornings Auckland. She returns home to us on the tenth anniversary of our inception, to share â10 years, 10 designs, 10 lessonsâ with us.
Jade is deeply passionate about design for social impact, community-led collective impact, and co-designing with people who have lived experience. She describes her career as âa squiggly line, rather than a straight oneâ, and has worked on a myriad of game-changing projects with change-making organisations. Jade currently leads as Director of Innovation and Partnerships in Aotearoa, for the Innovation Unit. Prior to that, she was part of the leadership group at NZâs largest philanthropic organisation Foundation North, an associate at the Centre for Social Impact, a design thinking lecturer at AUT University, and co-founder of the social change creative agency Curative.
Alongside Innovation Unit, Jade currently holds a few governance and advisory roles: HFWSLG (Healthy Families WaitÄkere Strategic Leadership Group), NACEW (National Advisory Council for Employment of Women) and MECAG (Ministerial Ethnic Community Advisory Group) as well as being a proud mum of one, and a lover of cheese.
We cannot wait to welcome her to the stage, and celebrate our tenth birthday with you all!
