About the speaker

Jacquelyn Tryde is a psychotherapist and counsellor, and co-founder of Maple Tree Counselling. She has been invested in the work of promoting mental health among Hong Kong youths across local, international, and ethnic minority communities in Hong Kong, while continuing to support clients in private practice. Her work focuses on the importance of developing one’s sense of safety in the world, promoting emotional acceptance and literacy as well as cultivating their self-esteem and inner resources.
