Jacob Trevino

Jacob Trevino, Founder and CEO of Gorilla Cinema Presents has specialized in bar consulting and developing cocktail programs for the past 17 years. He is the owner of The Overlook Lodge (ranked by Playboy Magazine and USA Today as one of the top bars in the United States) Tiki Tiki Bang Bang, The Lonely Pine Steakhouse, La Ofrenda Tequila Bar, Tokyo Kitty, and his newest concept Cosmic Gorilla was named “The Most Original Concept” by the the National Bar and Restaurant Expo in March of 2022.



Trevino is also the owner of consulting group 800 Pound Gorilla, and has done consulting innovation work for Kroger Brands, Pepsi-Co + Frito-Lay, Casamigos, Bacardi, Codigo Tequila, Bozal Mezcal and Kirk + Sweeney Rum; helping to activate these brands through unique immersive experiences. Recently, he helped bring the iconic American legacy brand Pan Am to life with Gorilla Cinema’s Pan Am Layover Lounge “Pop up” bar experience, which toured the Midwest of the United States in 2019.



Armed with that varied background, he’s been able to bring new and innovative food and beverage ideas to the world of themed entertainment and he continues to push the boundaries of storytelling and hospitality.
