About this Club
Have you been craving more creativity in your life? Have you been saying that you want to read more?
If so, then you’re invited to join Inhalation: a creative book club for people eager to explore self discovery in community!
We’ll read books that spark introspection and creative expansion. Our gatherings will be a playground for us to go deep into the themes and topics from the book, engage in interactive activities inspired by the book, and connect with other like-hearted people who want to reconnect with their creativity and have fun doing it!
Our May book:The Playful Way by Piera Luisa Gelardi✏️ It comes out on April 7, so pre-order it today!
Also - as a fun bonus, Piera will be joining our May book club in person for some playtime and author Q&A! 🤸🏻♀️ You won’t want to miss this!
No “creative” experience required. If you have an open heart, an open mind, and a spirit of play, then you are welcome here!

PS: The exact address will be shared in the reminder email 24 hours before our gathering, but it will be in Highland Park on the east side of LA.

Each month’s gathering will be themed to the book, but you can generally expect our time together to follow this flow:🍪 Settle in and grab snacks

We keep Clubs as free as possible to make sure anyone can attend. As a result, club hosts are carrying all the financial weight. We know that snacks make any gathering so much fun… so we’re trying something new!👋 If you’re a snack fan, and you’d like to contribute, please bring a snack to share with your fellow Club goers. Nothing fancy. Just something that delights you. That’s it. See you there!
ABOUT YOUR HOST
I’m Krystie 👋🏼 As an enneagram 2w3, ENFJ, and long-time CM fan, I feel most fulfilled helping people realize their potential and love bringing people together to celebrate creativity and self discovery in all forms.
I first discovered CM while living in NY, and since moving to LA in 2021, I’ve been craving a vibrant CM community here—so I’m thrilled to be bringing my community gathering magic and love for books/storytelling to LA!
Like many CM community members, I wear many hats 🎩, including: serving as a creativity coach for dreamers and doers aching to reconnect with their creative essence, the Executive Director at Slant’d, a nonprofit publishing house for AAPIs, and an instructor for The Moth, a nonprofit that promotes the art and craft of storytelling through live events, workshops, books, and podcasts.
