I’m Dr. Jaime G. Raygoza (he/him/él), a coach and facilitator focused on inclusive communication, stress management, and sustainable leadership. I help people reduce friction in everyday conversations by using language that’s clearer, kinder, and more respectful without overexplaining or walking on eggshells. My style is practical, trauma-informed, and a little playful, because skill-building sticks better when we can breathe and laugh. Based in Southern California, I support individuals and teams through coaching, workshops, and community learning spaces.
Words shape belonging and they also shape stress. In this interactive lab, we’ll practice small, practical language shifts that help people feel respected and included in everyday communication.
You’ll work with short, real-life examples from emails, meetings, and feedback conversations and do quick rewrites in real time (solo, in chat, or with a partner). This is not a lecture and not a debate — it’s a low-stakes practice session.
Expect to leave with a few “go-to” phrases and a personal swap list you can use immediately. Camera on/off is welcome; observing is okay too.
Welcome + shared agreements for a low-stakes practice space (5 min)
Warm-up: 3 quick rewrites together to get the hang of it (5 min)
Rewrite Round 1: names + pronouns in everyday moments (10 min)
Rewrite Round 2: inclusive meeting language (10 min)
Rewrite Round 3: feedback without shame (15 min)
Build your personal “swap list” toolkit (10 min)
Close: choose one phrase you’re taking with you this week (5 min)
A note-taking tool (notes app or paper).
Optional: bring one short “real world” sentence you’ve struggled to phrase (from an email, meeting, or feedback moment). Keep it anonymous and low-stakes.
A hands-on session where participants get to build, craft, or create something tangible.
