About the speaker

Barry Clark is a 757-based creative and community leader, most recognized as the founder of North End Run Club. With almost eight years of experience building community through the sport of running and over fifteen years working in design and music, Barry’s roots in our community run deep. His passion is encouraging and motivating people from all walks of life to get outside, be active, and explore their city. His motto is simple: just show up—as you are and with all you've got. He was awarded WTKR’s “People Taking Action Award” in February 2020 and honored by the Mayor of Virginia Beach with an official proclamation for the community he’s built, naming April 16th as North End Run Club Day. Barry resides in Virginia Beach and leads weekly events that both build a stronger community and support local businesses.
