Michal Gassner

MICHAL GASSNER was born in 1988 and studied at the High School for the Arts in Jerusalem. Before embarking on her studies she did volunteer work in Nepal, Haiti and Israel. She was in charge of a group of at-risk girls in Jaffa who created films about their personal stories. She wrote, shot and edited news reports online and for TV about Nepal as well as the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. During her studies she lived in Burundi, where she facilitated the setting up of a project for the NGO Tevel B'Tzedek. She is currently writing a TV series with the support of the Jerusalem Film Fund, a Feature film and an independent web series.
