We travel to the site of the main airport Berlin Brandenburg, which is running on trail since a few weeks. The focus of our interest is the pioneering signage and guidance system of the Airport presented by designers Heike Nehl and Sibylle Schlaich of Moniteurs – in a 20 minute live show – theoretically and practically on site. It is the world’s first airport signage system, that was developed from the first minute (and over 5 years) in close collaboration between architects and communication designers.
