About the speaker
Gregor started his career as a journalist. Since moving into PR and marketing almost a decade ago, he’s worked with some of the UK’s biggest brands – from Red Bull to Scottish Rugby.
He co-founded Story Shop because he believe there could be something in between an agency and an in-house marketing department.
Gregor used to love travelling the world, exploring far-flung places. Then he launched a start-up and had a baby amid a global pandemic. Now he likes to pound the streets of Glasgow, pushing a pram from coffee shop to coffee shop while listening to podcasts. When not doing that, he can be found on his peloton or reading self-development books or exploring other generic activities enjoyed by males in their 30s. He’s talked about starting Brazilian jiu-jitsu for over two years.
During her career so far, Scarlett has been responsible for building the brands of three of Scotland’s biggest shopping centres. In that time, she became fascinated by consumer behaviour and buying trends – she also fed her lifelong obsession with shopping.
She uses the lessons learned from increasing footfall and converting browsers into buyers to lead on marketing for Story Shop’s clients.
Outside of work, she can be found either in soft play centres with her new baby or browsing charity shops and auction houses searching for hidden gems for various ongoing interior projects.
