About the speaker

Gabriella Marcella is a graphic artist who adorns objects & surfaces with colour and playful pattern. She has exhibited internationally and has most notably designed for brands such us Urban Outfitters, Stussy, Dr Martens & Bloomberg.

She’s the founder and director of RISOTTO, Scotland’s leading riso-print specialist, and stationery company. Masters of the A3, RISOTTO produces vibrant posters for a range of clients, from leading art’s organisations to bands and brands, quickly, creatively and sustainably. Years of gathered experience, tailored specifically to the needs of the creative industries, coupled with our in-house production; RISOTTO celebrates craftsmanship and design, building an environmentally conscious and community-focuses business along the way.

The house style is wonderfully playful, and can be seen across the limited edition products that emerge seasonally through RISOTTO’s store; from pick’n’mix stationery sets, to graphic tees and geometric art prints, all bursting with vibrant colours and pattern.
