About the speaker

[Trisha Toh]{http://www.trishatoh.com) is a prop and food stylist based in Kuala Lumpur.

Inspired by solidarity and the art of organic styling, many of her published work focus on the imperfection that are a reflection of real-life and the journey in creating a dish - from planning the menu, sourcing seasonal ingredients in local markets, to preparing the dish, plating and on the table scenes. There is beauty in all things and Trisha enjoys watching how food trends ebb and flow.

Who is a food stylist anyway? Is it the same as chief? The same as food photographer? Imagine a fashion photoshoot. It involves a model, a photographer, a makeup artist, and yes, a stylist. Now imagine that model is replaced with a yummy juicy hot …. pizza🍕!

To make this photoshoot a success, makeup artist is probably not needed anymore. But all the other roles still remain. Our next speaker Trisha is a person behind the camera who makes your food look good. She worked with such proclaimed clients as (Intercontinental Kuala Lumpur, Troika Sky Dining, DoubleTree by Hilton, Benquet by The BIG Group and many many more.
