She is a certified leadership coach and her story has been covered by leading newspapers in India.
She has been a role model and encouraged many youngsters in colleges, NGOs, and corporates through her panel discussions, and talks at national and international forums.

On the personal front Madhu is married to Dinesh Kaushal who is also visually impaired and they are blessed with a son Namish.
