Abdullah Baabood

Abdullah Baabood is currently holding the Chair professor of the Chair of State of Qatar for Islamic Area Studies and at the Faculty of International Research and Education, Waseda University, Tokyo-Japan.
He has previously held the positions of the Director of the Gulf Studies Center at Qatar University and the Director of the Gulf Research Center at the University of Cambridge, UK.

Abdullah worked and taught at different universities and institutions in Europe and Asia. His teaching and research interests focus on international relations, international political economy with specialisation on the states of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) economic, social and political development and their external relations.
