Derek Kwik

Hong Kong born venture capitalist, Derek Kwik, has one goal – to give back to the local community. He has found a way to weave his three unique passions: Mentoring entrepreneurs, participating in youth education initiatives and animal welfare into his normal work week of investing in start-ups while juggling his role as a father of three. Given the frantic pace that is the norm of Hong Kong, Derek will share his personal experiences of his highest highs and lowest lows from investing in entrepreneurs like Alibaba’s Jack Ma, to building confidence in our youth by writing a children’s book, to running across the Amazon jungle for the benefit of animal welfare while managing hamburger feet.
