Discover how paper can blossom into stories with Dawn Koh.

In our September CreativeMornings, self-taught paper artist Dawn Koh showed how simple sheets transform into connections with nature and people. Her quiet yet powerful talk revealed how creativity can bloom in unexpected forms.

About the speaker

Koh Dawn, who is based in Singapore, is a self-taught Paper Artist.

For over a decade, Dawn has worked with luxury houses including Louis Vuitton, Chanel and Patek Philippe, creating bespoke Paper Art creations for private events, as Creative Director & Founder of her art studio and team, EKTORY.

Now, after 11 years in the commercial realm, she turns her focus to unveiling a personal body of fine art.

Dawn’s work merges her childhood calling of paper artistry and a love for haute couture discovered during her time in London College of Fashion and Central Saint Martins. She loves the truthfulness of working with her hands and the enduring value of traditional art forms. Fascinated by the transformative power and timelessness of human connection and the natural world, she weaves stories into her art and invites us to imagine the possibility of a more shared existence.
