If you're doing anything—especially creatively—make sure it's absolutely the best you can make it.

Do what you can, with what you have, where you are.

If you do what you can with what you have where you are, it will, hopefully, lead to something.

Every single project I did that first winter was an absolute and utter failure. Every single meal was a hot dog on a piece of bread with a piece of processed cheese.

I never set out to be a sign painter. It was an unexpected turn of events.

None of us actually know what is out there behind all these doors, but if you go and start knocking on them, weird shit starts to happen.
