About the speaker
Dr Anja Sisarica completed her degree in 2015 on the topic of Creativity Support in Games for Motivated Learning at City University London, Centre for Creativity in Professional Practice and Centre for Human-Computer Interaction Design, working on EU-funded FP7 MIRROR project. She holds a BSc and MSc in Computer Science from University of Novi Sad, Serbia. During her studies, she was a visiting scholar at Sapienza University in Rome, Italy (BASILEUS EM-ECW), Bremen University, Germany (DAAD) and Johannes Kepler University in Linz, Austria (CEEPUS-II). Now she is working as User Researcher at Signal Media in London, exploring how financial communications professionals interact with information when monitoring news and brands reputation, and helping them to be more creative in their decision making when researching new investment opportunities. Research shows that half of revenue in five years’ time must come from sources that do not exist today. Businesses are becoming increasingly aware that they have to be ready to take risks and adapt. Many professionals are puzzled with how to go about it, because creating an environment for creative thinking and innovation can be a daunting challenge. Luckily, there are established creativity techniques that can help us not only innovate business models, but also communicate better and motivate our teams. In this talk, I will share my insights on diversity and significance of applications of creativity science beyond creative industries.
