About the speaker

Originally from Brazil and shaped by life across several countries, Florence is a Helsinki-based creative working at the intersection of food, fashion, and community. She moved to Finland eight years ago from Montreal with a strong desire to create meaningful experiences and bring beautiful ideas to life.

Helsinki immediately felt like a place full of possibility — a young, evolving city where creativity could truly make an impact. Over the years, Florence has had the privilege of witnessing the city grow into a more multicultural and diverse creative hub, particularly within the food industry, while also contributing to that transformation herself.

Through her lifestyle brand, café, and boutique catering company, she has created spaces and experiences rooted in thoughtful design, hospitality, and connection. Her work is driven by a passion for bringing people together and building community through creativity.

Alongside her entrepreneurial projects, Florence also works as a Community Manager at BBO Creatives. Her journey has been shaped by resilience, reinvention, and curiosity — proof that creativity is not only about expression, but also about creating belonging, opportunity, and a sense of home.
