Federica Maria Raiti

Federica Maria Raiti is Vice President of Road to 50%, a European association committed to developing strategies to achieve gender balance in politics, institutions, leadership roles and the application of gender mainstreaming in public policy. The association carries out the Mezzipertutte campaign, addressing the issue of safety and harassment in public transport through advocacy, local engagement, and collaboration between different actors.

In addition, Federica is a researcher in behavioral economics at La Sapienza University, where she is completing a doctorate in applied economics. Her research has two main strands: cooperation on climate change in remote areas vulnerable to environmental disasters, such as Papua New Guinea, and the study of active mobility as a tool to promote inclusion and sustainability in cities, with a focus on the needs of marginalized communities.
