In dealing with the challenges of digitization, design can play a decisive role expanding its impact and influence. With the ability to penetrate complexity, to interlink competences and to show interdependencies in a wider context, creative teams can act as mediators and catalysts to open up and equip new opportunity spaces. In the light of these conditions and as host of the CreativeMornings Session “Beyond”, BMW Group subsidary Designworks will give insights into a project in the area of ​​digitization and knowledge management. Doing so, the team will be less concerned with the results but focus on reflecting the challenges and success factors of the project to share these with the guests.

About the speaker

As a pragmatic visionary Anne Farken is driven by imagining new spaces of possibilities and transferring them into practice. Since 2009 Anne is responsible for stewarding the built-up of Designworks’ global sustainability competence with a focus on innovation and value based consulting. Key areas of her work are complex challenges and the systemic integration of social, ecological and business factors into the internal creative process as well as consulting within projects for the mother company BMW Group and international clients from a broad cross-section of industries. Prior to joining Designworks, Anne served more than ten year as a lead consultant for Fortune 500s, smaller forward-thinking companies and government agencies in the field of sustainability, materials and innovation.
