About the speaker
Ck Ledesma is an artist, curator, and educator from San Juan, Puerto Rico based in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Their work is rooted in culture, social practice, and community engagement. Recognized as the 2022 Mildred L. Harpole Artist of the Year and a 2020 Mary L. Nohl Fellow, Ledesma has served as an artist-in-residence for Milwaukee's Cesar Chavez Drive Business Improvement District and the Mitchell Street branch of the Milwaukee Public Library.
Their work has been showcased both nationally and internationally, including at the Haggerty Museum of Art, the Racine Art Museum, and through the Museums Association of the Caribbean, most notably within our communities.
