Chris Shearmon

Chris Shearmon is the co-founder of Wild Pearl, a community platform initially conceived as “a house party not in your house.” Since its founding in 2021, Wild Pearl has grown from an intimate gathering space to a full-fledged company, specialising in bringing people together through initiatives as diverse as sober raves and block parties to beach clean-ups and community bike rides.

Over the years, Chris has worn many hats. Originally from the UK, he studied Fine Art before beginning his career in executive search in London, eventually relocating to Singapore in 2012. His path shifted during the pandemic, when hosted house parties that eventually evolved into Wild Pearl. Under this brand, he began new adventures as a producer, host, venue builder, DJ, and even drinks manufacturer. Through it all, he is driven by a desire to make meaning out of diverse experiences, weaving together his interests in music, wellness, technology, and culture into spaces where people can feel a sense of belonging.
