About the speaker
Musician and Educator
As a musician, it is our job to curate transcendent moments through (either with intellect or instinct) meticulously organizing otherwise unintentional sounds into something that evokes energy, connection, and innovative thought.
From the time we were in our mothers’ wombs, we have been learning the true meaning of rhythm: Peace and security being characterized by a calm heart rate and anxiety or stress by a quick and irregular one. Music as entertainment is a severe trivialization of what these sounds do and mean to us at our most primal level.
