2020年よりいけばなを始める。
パンクミュージックやストリートアートに触発されたスタイルと、社会学やアフォーダンス理論などを引用したコンセプトを用いて活動を続けている。
主なワークに、ゴミと草花の時間的融合をコンセプトにした「ジャンクいけばな」、没個性的な街路に新たな意味を生成する「借景いけばな」、刹那的瞬間に草花と自身を投げ込む「ハードコアいけばな」など。
berry belly berry started ikebana in 2020. His style is inspired by punk music and street art, and concepts that draw from sociology and affordance theory.
His main works include "Junk Ikebana," which is based on the concept of temporal fusion of trash and flowers, "Syakkei Ikebana," which generates new meaning in a characterless street, and "Hardcore Ikebana," in which he throws himself and flowers into a momentary moment.

いけばなは一見、静的で様式を重んじる美を体現しており、既存の価値観に挑戦するパンクの対極にあるように思えます。 しかし、ベリベリベリ氏は、いけばなの本質は、生命の源である大地から草花を切り離し、"かりそめの命 “を再構築する倒錯的な行為にあると考えています。 刹那的で祝祭的なパンク・ハードコアのように、いけばなもまた刹那的で祝祭的な表現と捉えることができるのです。 パンクといけばなーー相反するように見える二つの世界が交差する瞬間を、ぜひご一緒に体験してみませんか？
At first glance, ikebana showcases static and strongly stylized beauty, and it seems to be the opposite end of punk, which challenges the existing values. Yet, berry belly berry believes that the essence of ikebana is the perverse act of separating flowers and plants from the earth, the source of life, and reconstructing a “temporary life”. Just like punk hardcore concerts - ephemeral bacchanalia - ikebana can also be seen as an expression of the ephemeral and festive. Join us to discover the connection between punk and ikebana!
