Benjamin reflects on some of the strategies that have brought him success, the steps that brought him to those ideas, and how to be successful when sharing a company with your spouse.

Talk like a real person. Be a listener. Set a timer. Done is better than perfect. Get paid. Benjamin brought 30 original adages to the CM stage, each one born from the successes and failures he and his team have had building a business from San Francisco to Nashville. From Old Navy to Draper James to George Dickel, the team at Pencil & Paper Co. have experienced design for big brands on big stages… and they’ve discovered that it’s good habits and small successes day-to-day that keep you going, pushing your work forward, blowing past failures, and ultimately creating the life you want to live. Benjamin reminds us that right now, you’re closer than you’ve ever been.
